If you are looking for something different, this skirt is for you! I usually design my clothing to contour the body and show off a women's curves, but sometimes I like to design something avantgarde and "out there" to mix things up a bit.

I fell in love with this fabric as soon as I saw it. It's vinyl/pvc that is embossed with a houndstooth pattern. Houndstooth is a very traditional pattern originally woven out of wool and dates back centuries to some cultures such as Scottish and Swedish. I find this combination of a classic print (houndstooth) with an atypical fabric to be very intriguing. Perhaps this is also why I wanted to create a silhouette this is also atypical for the fetish scene: something wide and voluminous!

But there is nothing better than a voluminous skirt to show of a women's legs. I believe legs of any shape and size looking stunning with this skirt, expecially with the right heels! The volume is achieved through six box pleats sewn into the waist band of the skirt. And i've cut the waistband extra wide to make the waist appear cinched in. I think this skirt looks best with simple and tight fitting top, so that the focus of the silhouette is the skirt.

This fabric is very thick and difficult to sew. I cut and sew every skirt and dress made out of this fabric myself. Unfornately, the manufacturer of this fabric uses a white backing. It's an odd choice but only a minor drawback to this othewise amazing fabric.

Whether you wear it to a fetish party or gothic club, I imagaine the wearer to feel like a princess in it, who likes getting her way. Enjoy!
